PSB Air delivered the complete mechanical services package for the new St George Community Housing office fit-out at Liverpool Civic Place, demonstrating the team’s experience across complex commercial fitout projects . The project involved the design, supply, installation and commissioning of HVAC systems across approximately 1,300m² of premium office accommodation on Level 4. The fit-out included open-plan workspaces, interview rooms, meeting facilities, training spaces, staff breakout areas, wellness rooms, IT facilities and customer-facing areas.
Working within an occupied premium commercial building, our team coordinated closely with the builder, consultants and base building contractors to integrate new tenant mechanical services while maintaining the performance of the existing base building HVAC infrastructure.
Rather than replacing the existing HVAC infrastructure, PSB Air carefully reconfigured and expanded the base building VAV system, incorporating new supplementary cooling and drawing on its experience in complex HVAC refurbishment projects to maintain system performance throughout the tenancy.
Dedicated supplementary water-cooled packaged air conditioning units were installed to high-occupancy meeting rooms, training spaces and critical IT rooms, delivering precise temperature control while integrating with the building’s BMCS platform.
The project required extensive coordination with electrical, hydraulics, fire services, security and communications contractors to ensure all mechanical systems interfaced correctly with the base building services and complied with current Australian Standards.
